In depth knowledge in the speciality of Oral Medicine (Oral diagnosis) and Radiology in addition to the skills in Basic Dental surgery. Well versed in the Diagnosis of various Diseases affecting the Oral and ParaOral structures and the evaluation of Medically Compromised patients and the Dental management of the same (Special Care Dentistry). Good in the Medical / Conservative management of various Oral Mucosal lesions, Salivary gland , Orofacial pain & TMJ related Diseases and also competent in carrying out Investigations like Exfoliative Cytology, FNAC, Mucosal Biopsy, etc. Field of interest is Oral Cancer, actively involved in Tumour Board Meetings and in managing Head & Neck Tumours along with Medical Oncologist. Very well versed in the technique of both Conventional & Digital Intra Oral (Dental) / various Extra Oral Skull Radiography and its Interpretation. Trained in CBCT Interpretation.

Confident in handling under graduate (III yr, Final yr & Interns) teaching programme and in post graduate teaching as well. External Guide/Co-guide for M.Phil and PhD candidates. Experienced in performing routine departmental academic activities as well as administrative work and can discharge my duties to the utmost satisfaction of my superiors. Guided undergraduates and postgraduates in research activities, publications, presenting scientific papers, posters & essay competitions at various national conferences.

Actively involved in preparing for NAAC inspection (College & departmental NAAC co-ordinator, SRMC), Annual reports and department website. Worked in Clinic System of Dental Education and held responsibilities as Clinic Head. Trained in Digital Record management system and in MILA(Multiple Interactive Learning Algorithm) system of teaching dental students. Interested in continuing academic activities like presenting papers & posters in various national and international conferences, attending and conducting CDE programmes, seminars, workshop and conferences. Keen interest towards research and publications.
