Graduated from Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu and completed masters from Sri Ramachandra Dental College & Hospital, SRIHER, Chennai, Tamil Nādu in 2005. She is an active academician with more than 17years of teaching and clinical experience. She has completed Fellowship in TMD/OFP & DSM from Roseman University & SMILE USA, Associate fellowship in LASER, AALT, Singapore, Fellow-IBFO, Certification Course in CBCT, Palliative Care, FCPM, Pallium India, & OCTC, iCanCaRe. She has a total of 30 publications in indexed journals including the prestigious JADA. Her areas of interest are oral cancer, palliative care, forensic odontology, Orofacial pain and TMDs & is actively involved in research. Delivered multiple guest lectures and awarded “Young scientist award” & won numerous Best Paper awards.

The department of Oral medicine and radiology is equipped with state-of-the-art Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) machine, the only DENTSPLY SIRONA CBCT in Uttarakhand. The PGs are exposed in diagnosis & medical management of various head & neck disorders with special training in OFP/TMDs, LASER therapy, Forensic odontology, Palliative care and Tobacco cessation.
