Students are trained for extraction of teeth, local anaesthesia techniques, basic emergency training, management of medically compromised patients and complications that can occur during surgical procedures in the dental clinic. They are also trained to perform other minor oral surgical procedures under supervision, and are given a basic idea of different major oral and maxillofacial procedures. Emphasis is laid down on achieving sterile and aseptic conditions using state of the art and most advanced sterilization techniques.

Dr. Amit Agarwal belongs to first batch of both undergraduate and postgraduate studies from reputed dental college of India that is Subharti Dental College, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University Meerut. He is a life time member of Academy of Oral Implantologist and Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons of India. He is also the founding member of Association of Oral and maxillofacial surgeon of India Uttrakhand branch. He is recently appointed as President of AOMSI (UK state branch) and also Vice president of National Medical Organisation, SDCH. He is in the editorial board member of innovative publication. He has more than 10 yrs of teaching experience and is very keen in training undergraduate and postgraduate in basics of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. His key interest includes Oral Implantology, TMJ, Maxillofacial pathology and Maxillofacial trauma. He is currently serving as HOD & Prof of Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Seema Dental College and Hospital, Rishikesh.
