“World Oral Health Day”
World Oral Health Day is observed annually on March 20th. On this occasion A Campaign dedicated to raising global awareness on oral health and the importance of oral hygiene is conducted every year. This year's theme is "Be Proud Of Your Mouth". On the occasion of world oral health day Seema Dental College and Hospital celebrated it by organizing a Dental Health Program at SDCH, for the students of Pt. Lalit Mohan Sharma Govt. P.G. college Rishikesh.
“National Vaccination Day”
On the Occasion of National Vaccination Day Seema Dental College & Hospital, Rishikesh started vaccination against COVID -19 for its All Post Graduate and Under Graduate Students. All MDS students received first dose of Covishield & All faculty and staff have completed vaccination with 2 shots of Covishield earlier.
“राष्ट्र निर्माण में NMO की भूमिका / the role of NMO in nation building”
It was an honour and privilege to have Dr.Satish Midha Sir, All India President NMO among us on the 13th of March 2021. It was so kind of sir to accept our invitation and make time to interact with our young doctors! He spoke on the topic “राष्ट्र निर्माण में NMO की भूमिका / the role of NMO in nation building” and his words were immensely motivating . 23 new NMO Seema Dental College and Hospital Rishikesh members were inducted by Dr.Satish Midha.
“National Dentist Day”
Is celebrated on 6th March every year. It is celebrated to show appreciation towards dental surgeons and is a way to help create awareness among the society about oral healthcare.! It is also a reminder to see your dental surgeon every 6 months for a check up. Team National Medicos Organization Seema Dental College & Hospital Rishikesh organised a Free dental checkup and awareness camp for parents, students and staff of Saraswati Vidya Mandir Primary & Secondary School and Inter College since the past 10 days. The camp was inaugurated by Dr Himanshu Aeran & Shri R.P Pandey on 25th February 2021 & was concluded on 6th March 2021. Through which around 1500 patients have benefited.
“ABC in Restorative Dentistry”
A CDE Programme “ABC in Restorative Dentistry” was organized by Seema Dental College and Hospital, on 03rd March 2021. This was the first offline CDE Programme post Covid-19 lockdown. Dr Anil Dhingra, Professor & Head, Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics welcomed all & introduced the speaker of the day Dr Kuber Sood from Ivoclar Vivadent.
“अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मातृभाषा दिवस”
हम सब का अभिमान है हिंदी, भारत की शान है हिंदी.! अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मातृभाषा दिवस हर साल 21 फरवरी को मनाया जाता है। मातृभाषा दिवस को मनाने का उद्देश्य विश्वभर में अपनी भाषा और सांस्कृतिक की विविधताओं के प्रति लोगों में जागरुकता फैलाना है, ताकी दुनिया में बहुभाषिता को बढ़ावा मिल सके।अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मातृभाषा दिवस के उपलक्ष में Team National Medicos Organization Seema Dental College & Hospital Rishikesh ने हिंदी पुस्तक वितरण के कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया।
“बसंत पंचमी”
माघ माह की शुक्ल पंचमी को बसंत पंचमी कहते हैं और इसी दिन से बसंत ऋतु की शुरुआत हो जाती है | बसंत पंचमी को मां सरस्वती का दिन माना जाता है. इस दिन ज्ञान की देवी मां सरस्वती की विशेष पूजा अर्चना की जाती है| बसंत पंचमी के अवसर पर Team National Medicos Organisation Seema Dental College and Hospital, Rishikesh ने सुबह: माँ सरस्वती पूजन एवं पुष्प अर्पण और शाम को पतंगबाजी प्रतियोगिता के कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया |The program was initiated by Dr.Amit Gupta Chief Patron NMO SDCH & Dr Himanshu Aeran, Vice President NMO Uttrakhand & Founder President & Patorn NMO SDCH.Dr.Vijayendra Past President, NMO Bharat & Member N.M.C.and Dr.O P Mahajan Secretary NMO Uttarakhand graced the occasion. All Faculty & Staff Members along with PG & UG Students worshipped Maa Saraswat.
“World Cancer Day”
I am and I will, हारेगा कैन्सर जीतेगा उत्तराखंड Cancer Free Uttarakhand 2021. A program organized by Foundation for Social Awakening FSA in association with Ministry of Health & Family Welfare ,Government of India & Uttrakhand Government at Ved Niketan, Swargashram, Pauri Garhwal Uttarakhand. Team of Doctors from Seema Dental College & Hospital Rishikesh and AIIMS Rishikesh examined the patients during medical & dental check up camps.A poster making competition was also organized for school children to create awareness against tobacco & its products.
“Dental Screening and Dental Health Education Camp”
A Dental Screening and Dental Health Education Camp was organized in Maa Anandmayee Memorial School Junior Wing, Raiwala by Team Seema Dental College & Hospital Rishikesh under the able guidance of Dr Himanshu Aeran, Director Principal.A total of 215 Dental Screening were done which included school children, their parents and teachers. Dental Health Education was provided to all 215 patients with the motto"Service Above Self."
“National Prosthodontist Day” (online Program)
“God Creates ... We Recreate.. “ National Prosthodontist Day was celebrated by the Department of Prosthodontics, Seema Dental College & Hospital Rishikesh on 22nd Jan 2021 with great enthusiasm. The event began with the display of inspirational and educative Prostho Video to inspire the young graduate students and motivate them to pursue the core knowledge of Prosthodontics in every day dentistry.

स्वामी विवेकानंद जयंती के अवसर पर National Medicos Organisation, Seema Dental College & Hospital Rishikesh organized “Youth Dialogues and A series of Talks “ For Young Doctors of Uttarakhand! The program was initiated by ॐ उच्चारण ३ times , सरस्वती वन्दना with the lightening of Lamp by Dr.Amit Gupta Chief Patron NMO SDCH, Dr.Himanshu Aeran Patron NMO SDCH, Dr.Amit Aggarwal President NMO SDCH, Dr.Jyotsna Seth Secretary NMO SDCH & Dr.Yogeshwari KrishnanJoint Secretary NMO SDCH & followed by the NMO मंत्र।
“Series of Dental Camps” on “स्वामी विवेकानंद जयंती”
National Medicos Organization Seema Dental College & Hospital, Rishikesh along with NMO AIIMS, Rishikesh organized 20 camps together at different places. We did it first time that so many Camps were being organised simultaneously in rural areas of Tehri Garhwal, Dehradun & Haridwar districts. We are happy to share with you that around 3500 patients were benefited by this grand activity. Dr. Himanshu Aeran, Dr. Meenakshi Dhar, Dr. Anupma Bahadur, Dr. Madhur Uniyal and Dr. Yogeshwari Krishnan delivered talks to create awareness on the topics of Oral, Breast, Cervical Cancer and Geriatric care.
“DENTOCON 2020” (Online Conference)
“Changing Future – Embracing Transformation together” DENTOCON 2020. We are happy to announce that our 2 day online conference on the 23rd and 24th of December 2020 was a mega success. We had more than 500 registrations from across India and the response of the delegates was overwhelming. On both the days we had paper & poster presentations by faculty, Post Graduate & Under Graduate Students from across India. We hjad received around 108 abstracts Paper, 71 for E Posters out of which 20 were selected from each to be presented on Day 1 & 2 of the Conference.

"Consistency is what transforms average into excellence" In Admist of this pandemic, Cynodent- Global Health care organized a biggest online digital cultural and scientific event CYNOPHORIA 2020. Seema Dental College and Hospital participated in a big way and seemiates again brought laurel to the institute.
“Online Webinar 2020”
"Education is not the learning of facts but the training of mind to think." Dental impressions play a crucial role in determining the success of a Prosthodontic Rehabilitation. An Online Webinar was organized by CyoDent - Global Health Care for all. Seema Dental College and Hospital, Rishikesh who was invited as a Guest Speaker to deliver a lecture on the topic "The Art to Capture Dental Impression."
“INTERNATIONAL DAY OF OLDER PERSON – 2020”
‘To care for those, who once cared for us is one of the highest honors’ National Medico Organization and Department of Prosthodontics Seema Dental College and Hospital in Collaboration with Aeran Charitable Trust celebrated International Day for Older Person with the theme ‘Pandemic : Do they change how we address Age or Ageing’ The following activities were covered during this event : Swami Parmanand ji Madhuban Ashram & Dr Himanshu Aeran Chief coordinator & President Aeran Charitable Trust inaugurated this event for Creating awareness of Pandemic for Elderly patients by distributing hand sanitizer, face mask on the Ghats and Ashram of Rishikesh to the Senior Citizens. People were instructed to wear masks and use sanitizer frequently to keep themselves and the surrounding safe. Senior citizens were provided pamphlet which stated the Do’s and Don’ts during this pandemic time.

Orientation Program MDS- 2020 (Online Program)
"A journey of a thousand smile begins with a single step" Seema Dental College and Hospital Rishikesh organized Online Orientation Program for newly admitted post graduate students as SDCH has successfully stepped into 10th Batch of post graduate education with 24 seats in various specialties. Dr. Amit Gupta, Chairman, SDCH & Dr. Himanshu Aeran Director Principal;SDCH symbolically inagurated the program by lightning of lamp with Saraswati Vandana. Dr. Mahesh Verma, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor GGS Indraprastha University, New Delhi delivered Oration for PG students as Chief Guest. In his own style of motivating people Dr Mahesh detailed that what they are supposed to do during their PG curriculum to become real Master of their specialty. He also emphasized PG students to follow three fold developments which consists of knowledge, skill & attitude. Dr. Anil Chandra, Dean Faculty of Dental Sciences, KGMU, Lucknow. Guest of Honour enlightened the students with his knowledge of wisdom & practical aspect of life. He congratulated students to be selected in one of the Best Dental Institution of the country. Dr. O.P Kharbanda,Dr CG Pandit National Chair, ICMR, New Delhi Guest of Honour explained how to have balance life in these next three years between ambitions of PG students and expectations of teachers

Seema Dental College & Hospital Rishikesh celebrated Oral Hygiene Day by conducting An Online Lecture by Professor Dr Nymphea Pandit, President ISP to create awareness of Periodontal Diseases & their management. The program on Facebook Live was well attended & appreciated.
