Seema Dental College and Hospital celebrated World Health Day on 7th April 2022 by organizing a Poster making competition with the theme of “Our Planet Our Health” amongst the school children of various schools in Rishikesh. A total number of 11 schools - DSB International Public School , Doon International Public School, Rishikesh Public School, Maa Anandamayee Memorial School, Nirmal Ashram Deepmala Public School, Modern School, Happy Home Montessori School,KendriyaVidhyalaya IDPL, Paras Public School,Morning Bells Academy participated in the event. Around 105 school children from the above mentioned schools participated in the poster making competition with great zeal and enthusiasm. They were all accompanied by their school teachers to motivate and support their confidence.

National Medicos Organisation, Seema Dental College and Hospital Rishikesh organised a Dental Check up and Treatment Camp along with I.I.T. Roorkee under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan at Meerpur Village, Roorkee on 26th March 2022 under the able guidance of Dr Himanshu Aeran Director Principal SDCH and Vice President NMO Uttarakhand. In this camp 202 village people and school children underwent Dental Screening out of which 27scaling and 7 teeth restorations were performed.
Seema Dental College and Hospital under the agies of Indian society of Periodontology celebrated World Oral Health week from 15/3/2022 to 22/3/2022 with the theme "Be Proud Of Your Mouth" as an initiative of the Dental Council of India to celebrate Oral health day during " Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav " being organized by Government of India to celebrate and to commemorate 75th year of Independence of India. Seema Dental College organized various events to create oral health awareness.
Dental Screening and Dental Health Education Camp was organized in Paras Public School, Shyampur Khadri on 26/2/2022 where a total number of 415 dental screenings were done and Morning Bell's Academy Bapugram IDPL Rishikesh on 28/2/2022 where 350 dental screenings were done by Seema Dental College and Hospital Rishikesh team under the able guidance of Dr Himanshu Aeran, Director Principal. A total of 765 Dental Screening were done which included school children, their parents and teachers.

Seema Dental College and Hospital celebrated National Oral Pathologist Day on 25th February 2022, Friday. The program was initiated with lightening of lamp by Dr. Himanshu Aeran Director Principal and Dr. Nagaraja Anand, Professor and Head Oral Pathology along with Saraswathi Vandana. The Inaugural address was delivered by Dr. Himanshu Aeran, Director Principal who highlighted and emphasized the importance of Oral Pathology in the diagnosis. Cake cutting ceremony was done on this occasion. A dental quiz based on Oral Pathology and diagnosis was conducted to promote the knowledge of Oral Pathology.
CDE programme on “CBCT- boon as a diagnostic tool” was conducted on 21st February 2022, at Seema Dental College and Hospital in collaboration with ORMCO. Dr. Amit Gupta, Chairman SDCH, Dr. Himanshu Aeran, Director Principal SDCH, Dr. Sanjay Labh, Guest Speaker, Dr. P Narayana Prasad, Professor and HOD Orthodontics, Mr. J P Chamola and Mr. Kapil ORMCO representatives inaugurated the occasion by seeking blessing of Maa Saraswati with Lamp Lighting.Dr. Himanshu Aeran, Director Principal told the importance of technology advancement in dentistry and CBCT and CAD CAM are among the latest developments in the field of dental sciences. He thanked management to provide all these facilities at Seema Dental College and Hospital, Rishikesh. Dr Aeran further thanked Dr. Sanjay Labh to share is knowledge from vast clinical experience. Dr. Sanjay Labh told all the aspects of CBCT especially in the field of dental implants, orthodontics, endodontics and prosthodontics. He emphasised the significance of these latest technologies for good out come in dental treatment for the patient. The lecture was followed by Live Demonstration on placement of Infrazygomatic crest (IZC) and Buccal Shelf Implant on patients.

Around 200 faculty, staff, students delegates of 2nd WDSOHC and members of Lions International participated in this great cause of service to human kind and contributed to the society by donating 55 units of blood.
Inauguration of CAD/CAM and CBCT at Seema Dental College and Hospital* Clinical research programs and training can lead to rewarding careers in a variety of settings. A good exposure to best clinical training can equip graduates as well as post graduates with the knowledge to make an immediate impact in their chosen field of healthcare. On the same line of thought to excel in clinical training CAD/CAM and CBCT set up was inaugurated in the Department of Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge and Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology respectively at Seema Dental College and Hospital Rishikesh which makes us the first dental Institution in Uttarakhand to be equipped with such facilities.

Ms Muskan Chaudhary BDS Final year Student won First Prize in U.G.Category during National Level Online Poster Competition organized by Indian Academy of Oral Medicine and Radiology in collaboration with Narayana Dental College, Nellore on the occasion of World Radiology Day.Ms Muskan Chaudhary has been awarded with Certificate of Appreciation and Cash Prize of INR 2500/.2 OMR PG students and 9 UG students also represented Seema Dental College and Hospital Rishikesh in this national level competition. Around 125 students participated from throughout the country. Ms Tanya Sharma and Ms Aashi Mittal were also felicitated with Certificate of Appreciation by IAOMR for securing highest marks at SDCH in the subject of Oral Medicine and Radiology in B.D.S. final professional examinations.
National Medicos Organization Seema Dental College and Hospital Rishikesh organized a three-day free dental check up and artificial denture camp in collaboration with Seva THDC with the inspiration of Shri Mateshwari Ann Kshetra Gangotri on 7th to 9 December 2021. More than 300 people registered on the first day camp, which could check the teeth of 203 patients benefitted.
In collaboration with Parmarth Niketan, Global Interfaith Wash Alliance, Seema Dental College and Hospital, Rishikesh organized Four Medical and Dental Treatment camps at Kale Ki Dhaal, Mayakund, Govind Nagar and Chandreshwar Nagar Rishikesh from 1st to 4th December 2021 for the needy and under privileged people of these areas. The all camps were followed by health awareness talk and langar every day. He explained various options to opt after BDS in India and abroad. He also emphasized the importance of attitude which is the key of success in every sphere of life. The Government constituted National Foundation for Communal Harmony, under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 as an autonomous organization for promoting and strengthening communal harmony, national integration as well as fostering unity through collaborative social action, awareness programmes, reaching out to the victims of communal violence, encouraging interfaith dialogue for India’s shared security, peace and prosperity.

Budding young dental professionals exhibited their insight on the bad effects of pollution on environment in the form of art. National Medicos Organization, Seema Dental College and Hospital Rishikesh organized Dental Check Up and Treatment Camp at District Jail, Dehradun today. Dr Anirudh P Singh Director SDCH was key person to organize this needed facility to inmates and staff of the jail under the motivation of Dr R.K.Gupta, Founder SDCH. A Total 182 Dental Check-up were done. Out of which Restoration for 52 decayed teeth, Oral Prophylaxis for 65 patients Extraction of 41 badly decayed teeth were done and free medication has been given to 110 patients by Dr Amit Aggarwal, Prof and Head, Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr Avnish Singh Prof and Head, Public Health Dentistry, Dr Anshdeep Singh, Dr Pulkit Gupta Readers, Dept of Conservative Dentistry along with team of interns under the able guidance of Dr Amit Gupta, Chairman and Dr Himanshu Aeran Director Principal, SDCH with our Motto of "Service Above Self."

Dr. Sachin Kumar Yadav, Deputy Director CBHI, ROHW Lucknow explained" Objectives of the workshop and Role of CBHI in promotion of ICD-10. Dr.(Maj) V. P Srivastava, Surveillance Officer WHO and Consultant WISH Foundation USA described " Introduction, Importance of Use of ICD-10 and its basic coding guidelines. He also explained ICF Background, Introduction, modules and it's coding.

National Medicos Organization, Seema Dental College and Hospital, Rishikesh organized Oral Health Awareness and Dental Treatment Camp from 7th October 2021 to 13th October 2021 during Navratri Siddhpith Maa Kunjapuri Paryatan and Vikas Mela at Nagar Palika Ground Narendra Nagar, Tehri Garhwal Uttarakhand Under the guidance of Dr.Himanshu Aeran Director Principal. The program was inaugurated by Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami Hon’ble Chief Minister and Shri Subodh Uniyal Hon’ble Cabinet Minister Uttarakhand Government. They appreciated the efforts of Team Seema Dental College and Hospital. International Day of the Girl Child on was celebrated on 11th October during the camp. We examined girl students at Government Girls Inter College Narendra Nagar Tehri Garhwal. A total no of patients 1190 were benefitted during this camp in which 25 Extraction, 115 Restorations, 84 Scaling was done and 1 partial denture was delivered.
National Medicos Organization Seema Dental College and Hospital Rishikesh participated in Rishi Kashyap Swasthya Sewa Yatra. This Yatra is aimed to provide health care services and awareness for the people living in far-flung remote villages of Jammu , Kashmir and Ladak . Also it is essential in inculcating the feeling of Nationality, the essence of teamwork and Seva bhav in young medicos, who volunteer to this program. The Yatra is held every year in the months of September-October and covers 200 villages of Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh. Medical and dental Students and doctors from all over the nation participate for this noble cause. This year in the 7th RKSSY , Dr.Yogeshwari Student Representative NMO Uttarakhand, Joint Secretary NMO Seema Dental College and Hospital Volunteered for the cause. She worked in the health awareness and check up camp for 3 days at District Ganderbal , Kashmir (Villages : Laar, Noonner Serch, Chautwaliwar) and lived with a local family there .. Seeing more than 500 patients.
